About Me
Hi! I’m Cazot, and I’m from the great town of Ipswich in Suffolk, east Anglia. I WILL die defending the greatness of this town, even if I know I’m wrong and even if we have the ugliest bus liveries ever. Quite surprisingly, I’m currently the only person working on SCR Collection who is from the UK!
I aim to write light-hearted articles that are often community based with heavy community contributions towards the opinions presented in them.
Why I joined SCR Collection
I joined Collection at the start of 2026 after becoming friends with some of the people who run it. We all had a common goal – to create a social site for the SCR community to connect on.
We rebranded halfway through the year I joined and since then I’ve been writing articles for the community to enjoy!
My Video Editing Projects
I first started making proper edited videos in late 2025 with the Express New Years competition. I made the soundtrack myself (which I am not proud of must I add – I have no music theory knowledge and you can easily tell) and ended up winning the contest due to the creative idea! This inspired me to carry on creating these sorts of videos.
The Metro ad was one of my favorites to make – despite it not winning. The song was again made by me, this time a little bit better. I myself still find it annoying- but that might just be because I listened to it for hours on loop whilst editing. It took ages to make and the effect but think it was extremely worth it!
Next up, I plan to bring my editing skills to the SCR collection through new content being created on a regular basis. I even have some more ambitious plans for the future of this site!
Some of my Hobbies
Listen, I’m not going to say that I’m the best photographer. That’s because I’m clearly not. This is a small hobby I do sometimes, and when it comes out right, It looks great. I hope you enjoy some of my work :3
